DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS (MSF) FOR HAITI VICTIMS
RAISES $30,000
On Sunday, January 31st, 2010 Wilshire Restaurant dedicated an evening of dining to raise funds for DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS (MSF) and their work to assist the victims of the recent devastating earthquake in Haiti
There was a silent auction and reception for the guests, encouraging community support for Haiti and extending the evening's fundraising through sales of donated products, services and gift certificates
The dinner was a collaborative effort of family style dishes from the Wilshire kitchen team,
headed by Chef Andrew Kirschner, and friend of Wilshire, Chef Luis Pous
of Little Palm Island Resort, Florida
All restaurant staff donated their time and gratuities from the evening
